I have an R1 that was built from a factory blank frame. The bike is currently set up for track duty, but the good thing is that it can be registered for the street as well. The frame comes with the receipt from the dealer which will allow you get the bike inspected and titled for the street once you put some lights on it. BTW, i have lights for it which all you need to do is hook them up.
When getting an ASPT titled vehicle on the road they issue the manufactured date as the year its registered. Not sure how this would play out in future value for the bike, but i never worried bout that cause it was meant to be a race/track bike. For all intents and purposes you could consider it an 06 i guess.
Right now the bike has some good SC pro tires, frame & clutch sliders, billet master cylinder cap, TiForce slip ons(not perfect but still fully functional), vortex keyless gas cap, mirror block offs, Puig double bubble windscreen, rear spools.
The bike is located in the TampaBay FL. area. Price isn't set in stone, but don't insult me either. With cash in my face i'd be more willing to listen to other offers. Without that you're pretty much pissing into the wind.
