ok so i can't get the title. i've tried and tried. this bike was ridden by Brad Parkerson and he won lots of suzuki contingency money on it. i know it is not a stolen bike because i personally cheked the vin # with the police Dept.

the first $4,500 takes it.

this is killing me people. i dont understand the purpose or importance of a title if you have no intentions of putting it on the road. when i bought it i could'nt care less it didn't have a title.

just so everyone knows the guy that bought my bike works for the people who make the laws that we have to follow or we go to jail or get fined. he said to me "why the hell do i care a bout a title if it's not going on the street" he proceeded to call in the vin and guess what! he has a wonderful new racebike now. im sure he will enjoy it for years to come despite the fact it dosent come with a piece of paper stating what bike it is and the vin number. im sure when hes blistering down the straight into turn 1 the bike is just going to implode and he will just go skidding off into the grass on his chest like superman all due to the fact of the lost title. i also heard the the title ad 7 HP to the RW. i dont know why some people like to make thing difficult. im glad im not like that. but i an kinda an asshole tho.

i feel your pain man, i've had troubles in the past with selling racebikes, even with the mso.. some people have it in their head w/o a title the bike is NO good.. bummer on the hit you took selling!

not to be a dyck... but selling something without a title is hard, which is WHY it's hard to sell something without a title.

i bought a salvage title bike a while back and i thought... why all the fuss about 'salvage' ooooooo so scary...

then i tried to sell later on... that is how i came to the conclusion: i would never deal with a salvage title again. just too dang hard to sell when the time comes.

funny it happens in the racing world too though... i thought it was just a street thing.

yeah, the importance of a title to me is that a bike without one is uninsurable, and I have seen posts on here and other boards saying "help me find my stolen racebike" If my 4500.00 racebike is stolen, I want the insurance money, without a title, NO reimbursement.
