If your using it on the track, you should get the AC 12 series, seriously....

What is the difference? They are both snell certified.

The CL series is a poly carbonate shell. There have been a few instances of failures during racing crashes.
The AC series is a fiberglass or carbon fiber composit construction that is more suited to a racing environment. It also has some other features like locking shield, snap fastener for the tail of the chin strap, different shell sizes and pad sizes for a better fit.
Newenough.com has some AC 12 Axis helmets on close out for $119.00. Just make sure to ask about the manufacture date.
