No worries, didn't know what kind of 1000 you had in mind from the previous post.

So why weren't you at Tally last weekend?

Once again I find myself wishing I had the money to take advantage of this opportunity. This is truly an exquisite bike.

Free bump. Look forward to seeing you at Nashville, Jeff!

George, you'd go slower with a pretty RC!:D

Are you saying my current RC isn't pretty? Them's fightin' words. It's almost as pretty as I am. :D

Jeff, I hope you're not wanting to get out of HWT and go to "A" so you'll be faster. Although you might improve your laptimes by a second or two on an "A" bike because of the increased horsepower, you'll also be on the track with people who are super duper fast, so you're going to 'feel' slower.

As an example, at Talladega last weekend, in A SuperStock 15 out of 18 riders were turning laptimes of 1:03 or better (Experts and novices included). And there were two riders turning sub 1:00 lap times. The slowest rider still turned a 1:07. In HeavyWeight Twins SuperBike only 5 out of 12 riders were turning laptimes of 1:03 or better, nobody was turning sub 1-minute laptimes, and the slowest rider's best lap was a 1:13.

Conventional wisdom is that you'll learn to go faster quicker if you are using a slower bike and working on improving your skills to lower your laptimes rather than relying on exploiting the bike's power to go fast.

It's none of my business, so I apologize if my advice is not desired, but it's just my friendly advice for what it's worth.

Best regards, and another free bump...

Good advice! A class is ridiculous; twins is a better deal. When you can ride an RC up w/the EX front-runners then think about A. With George movin' up next year, we will be growing the HWT class and we will all be better riders for it. The fact that A is so far off is why I won't even consider entering a national w/no HWTs as an option. Guess I shoulda bought a 4-fiddy single!:D

Hey George, I guess you could say 666 is purty in a beastly sorta way!

You guys are crackin me up! LMAO! It's not to "go faster", I need all the advice I can get. I have to admit, going from riding i4's for the past 18 years then jumping on the V-twin, seems like flying a Leer then gettin into a C141. Just might all be in my mind (which is admitted not all there sometimes) but was thinking that i might be more comfortable on the i4. :crackhead: If the RC dosen't sell, I'm definately not going to be too distraught.

Again, all the input is very much appreciated. Me being new to the track, my first year even setting seat on a V-twin, I am doing pretty good, I think to myself.....LOL.

Hey, you're doing great Jeff. Just between Nashville and Road Atlanta this year I could tell you're getting faster.

I was the same way WRT the I4's and V twins. My RC51 is the first V twin bike I've ever owned, and I bought my first street bike 34 years ago. I was used to the high revving power of the inlines when I first started racing in June of 2006 and at first I just kept finding myself bumping up against the rev limiter on the RC. It took time to get used to the way the V twin delivers power, but now I'm really happy with it.

I really hope you'll stay with us in the HWT class, but offer my best wishes whatever you decide.

This is a nice bike. I wanted to see Jeff get past George. It was going to take another half season. Then George opened up a fresh can at that Tally race and Jeff was never going to catch him. George you are riding great this season. I enjoyed it. We need someone to buy this bike and stay in HWT.

Bump for nice bike.

do you want to get rid of some of your aftermarket parts or are you still trying to sell as a whole?
