I am looking for recommendations on where to buy a good running 2001 honda cbr 600 egnine. (Salvage yards, you or your friend, etc...)

I don't know what the market is for these. I work on cars. This is for my
customers bike. If you say $500-$1000 what ever. I am just going to tell him
this much $$$ for the motor this much for labor $$$. Then he can decide for
himself. To be honest I am already way in the whole I already have three plus hours calling/emailing/posting looking for a motor for him and I don't even
know he is going to do the job.


I just look this one up for $250. Yours of course is worth more since
it only has 6k miles on it. What do you want for it?
