Stock, race, mileage range, price range willing to consider, how much of the motor(long block, short block, car kit)?

Hey Tampa how have you been,, I bumped you on the r6 message net a while ago,, i tried to call you as well, I though of you first for the motor, but lost the number,, my boy dropped a valve and is looking for a bare bone stocker,, do not need the ecu, harness, or throttle bodies, so just the motor.
Any way hope all is well and look forward to getting a call from you
The new one will be reworked before it gets dropped in the bike

If you guys are going to be doing some work to the motor it might be best to just tear into the old one, no? You will want to deck the head and put in a valve job no doubt, so that takes care of your head....unless he damaged it beyond repair. While the head is off you could put down a new set of pistons with higher compression, or larger bore if you care to send out the block for that. Head work and pistons and you have a worked motor for less than it would cost for a used stocker.
