Up for sale is my beloved 2003 Zx6-R. Roughly 3wks ago, I had an altercation with Turn 2 at Pacific Raceway and lowsided the bike.
As you can tell from the photos, she faired out pretty decent, with all things considered. Prior to the lowside, the bike ran flawless and extremely strong. It currently has about 4K-5K miles on the original motor, however, it was ALWAYS been well maintained. Oil changes were performed every 2 track days and the brakes were bled every 4. I marshal for 2-Fast so the bike has always been in tip-top riding shape. At PR, I have run mid 30’s, but with a faster rider, the bike is capable of running very low 30s, if not faster.

Here is an overall description by picture number:
1- rashed on the left side (rideable AS IS)
2- close-up of the frame slider, you’ll need to replace it, race stator cover held up great
3- CRG level intact, minor starches, you’ll need to replace the barends and grip
4- another close up of slider frame slider
5- tank took a good beating, rideable AS IS, does not leak, Vortex cap intact
6- tail sustained some rash
7- Full Arata Ti system fared well, some rash on the can, but no cracks or dents
8- right clipon, grip, and barend will need replacement, Brembo 19x18 Master Cylinder and lever fared extremely well, this brake kit worked amazing, no fade, true 1 or 2 finger braking
9- scratches on the right side, frame slider survived
10- closeup of left frame, only scratched, 100% perfectly straight
11- birdseye view, Toby stabilizer survived without issues, front fairing stay will have to be replaced, it’s cracked, windshield will have to be replaced
12- left footset will need to be replaced
13- left shock survived with only scratches, 100% perfectly straight, right shock, no issues at all, keyset will have to be replaced, the accident bent the key and I cannot get it out, you might have to make a on/off kill switch
14- Penske Double survived without any issues
15- front forks survived without any issues, 100% straight, all suspension work performed by GP Suspension North, dialed in for a rider between 150-180lbs.
Overall, the bike looks worst than it actual is. My guess would be $500-$750 to get the bike up to the running specs that I had it prior to the altercation with Turn 2. Once you have her up and running, you will not be disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed riding this 636 as it was fast and handled very well after all the suspension work I put into the bike.
Asking $2000 OBO and I will include front/rear stands and anything extra I can find for the bike. The bike is located in Seattle, WA
My number is 425.830.1211
Lastly, I do have title in hand, but now it’s salvaged.
