When I bought this bike it was a rebuilt salvage titled street bike with 5,000mls on it. I looked the bike over very meticulously before I bought it and would have never known the bike had been wrecked, I couldn't find one scratch anywhere on the bike(frame forks swing arm underneath the plastics ect,...nowhere) I talked to the guy and he said that the bike had been salvaged due to cosmetic damage only(which after looking at it I believe him) and he rebuilt it to use for a street bike. So, I bought the bike as a street bike 2 years ago and about a year after that I turned it into a track bike at around 11,000mls. I have taken excellent care of this bike (which I think is evident if you look at it). I changed the oil and filter about ever 2,500 miles and checked the air filter every time I changed the oil and cleaned it when needed on the street and when I converted it to a track bike, I changed it every other trackday and again cleaned the air filter as was needed. As far as the paint job, I personally spent countless hours on the paint and bodywork...I used automotive paint and clear coat, which was sprayed with a real paint gun, this is not a half-ass rattle can job. I bought another track bike (03' R6) and sold this one to my brother last September and now I am selling it for him. This is a very clean and awesome bike, that I have put a lot of time and care into and have actually grown quite attached to it...I hate to have to sell it, but my brother has decided to quit riding motorcycles for a while due to not being able to have a job at the Citadel.
