I purchased the bike in 2006 with about 1200 miles. The original owner was involved in a minor accident in NY which the insurance company totaled the bike. Somthing about a mark on the frame from a foot peg or foot pedal (i have never been able to find this mark) but otherwise the bike was in good shape. The bike was then purchased by the original owner's friend as a race bike. The bike was run in one WERA race by the previous owner and one NESBA track day (he decided he wanted an R6). I have owned the bike since 2006 and have used it mostly for coaching with STT and the occasional "personal" track day. The bike rides straight and is in good condition. Since i have owned it, it has been involved in one tip over in the paddock and one lowside at VIR last year. The lowside rashed the body work and ground down a frame slider (frame slider still straight and functional.) The front and lower body work is in great shape, although a little scratched, and the tail is still in usable shape (also rashed).
At the end of 2006, i got a small hole in the radiator while at Barber and the radiator was replaced with one from a 750 (larger than the 600 but bolts right up.)
OIl changes have been regular at about every third track weekend.
Tank has one minor dent near the right rear towards the top. The dent did not crease the metal nor chip the paint.
The frame has some of the paint rubbed off from the fairings vibrating against it at speed. The swingarm has two scratches from bumbled rear stand placement and some of the paint has rubbed off from my boot while riding.
I am selling the bike because i found a 750 for the right price. The 750 did not have a front fairing stay or muffler, so i took those parts from the 600 (they will not be included with the 600.) The bike currently has a home made front fairing stay but it is a bit flimsy and does not accommodate the gauges. Apart from the fairing stay and muffler, the bike is in excellent shape and ready to go.

Michelin Power Race tires (m/m): Only used three days. The front is still in great shape. The rear has maybe one more track day left in it.
