After hardly putting any miles on it in the 2-ish years I've had this, I realize now that I am much more a mtn biker than I realized and I will never really like road biking. I have at most 50miles on road and 100mi on the trainer on this thing. Total bike weighs around 16lbs. Its ultrafast and accelerates like crazy. I probably shouldnt have gotten such a nice bike to start with but oh well. Will make a great bike for cardio training! I got some bills to pay, and there's no reason to keep this around any longer.

Motobecane LeChampion SL
Full Ultegra 20-spd group
aluminum fusionXL frame 56cm (I'm 6ft even and it fits me great)
carbon FSA cankset
carbon fork
American Classic Sprint350 wheelset
Ritchey ProWCS stem, bar and seatpost

Asking $1000 obo (with pedals and cleats)

Seriously, this thing is practically brand new!

Damn to bad it's a 56cm. I bought a couple of Motobecane's last summer. So far I have no complaints about them. One sits on a trainer the other I ride on the street.

Yeah its an AWESOME bike, I dont regret it at all, except for the fact that I could never get into road riding.

56cm will be too big. Best bet is to go to a reputable local shop, one that will do a "fit" and go from there. There's a lot more to it than just frame height (and that is measured differently depending on maker as well c to t like his or c to c (center to center), etc.).
Frame size is just sort of a generic way of dealing with it. Personally I've always worried more about top tube length since that effects my position on the bike more than just frame height.

Yup, true.. this is 56cm from the bottom bracket to the top tube

5'5" is a good bit too short for this one.

Gary, you sit on that thing without buying it, they'd have to burn the seat, the seat post and maybe the rear tire. :D Your size 58 ass won't fit on the size 4 seat. :D

Hey! my ass is only a 56 :D

lol.. size 56 ass goes great on a size 56 bike. :)

My inseam is 31"-32" and you can see the seat height... If yours is longer, no problem, shorter, no way.

Shorter. :(

by how much? 1" or like 6"

with the shorter inseam, I'd be more worried about the reach to the bars, honestly.

Dave has a 23 inch inseam :D
