I bought this bike from a WERA racer to use in one race. I just needed a bike quick as I sold my Moto-ST bike three weeks before Daytona. I literally picked it up on my way to Daytona. I bought some basic spares as none came with the bike. Once at Daytona I sorted a little safety wiring. Added a dry break to the tank and fitted the bodywork with Dzuz fasteners. The bike was dynoed on the series dyno at 73.6hp on pump gas The ST limit is 75hp. It weighed in at 3 lbs over the 360lb minimum weight limit. I did lay the bike down lightly at the hairpin about an hour into the race with little more than body damage. I will repair and repaint the fairing for you. Repaint will be decent but not show quality.
The bike is currently set up to run the Moto-ST series however it will make a great sprint bike or use as an endurance racer.
The only reason that I am selling it is that I want to run the middle (GST) class and this bike is a small (ST) class machine. I will sell outright or trade on a Ducati S2R1000, 1000DS, or sport classic machine. These are the ONLY bikes that I am interested in.
I will work with the buyer on shipping or I am willing to meet part way within reason.

Its in Toronto however I have no problem meeting you in Detroit if we do a deal. I need to either get this done or keep it for the next round at VIR. I need enough time to buy and prep a Duc before the end of April. I forgot to put in the ad the bike also has a GPR rotary damper.

If you look at the last photo in the series (fueling) that shows the damage. It broke the shield and the left dog ear off the fairing. It was so light that we actually finished breaking it off in the pits and taping over the jagged edge to satisfy tech so we could finish the race. I have the piece that was broken off. Its just a matter of glassing it from the inside/sanding and repaint. All of which I will do before the sale. I also have a new ZG shield for it. When the buyer gets the bike it will look as good as it did before the crash. I am taking a bunch of more detailed pics today and hope to have them posted on Photobucket I will post a link here as soon as its done.
I need to either move this in the next couple weeks or I will have to keep it for the next Moto-ST race as I wont have enough time to find a Ducati and have it prepped for VIR. If you are looking for a solid racebike that has alot of well placed upgrades you will have a hard time finding a better candidate.
