Mr. Clark,

This question is for you as I'll bet you know the answer!

On the Tally calendar there are trackdays listed for March 22-23. I don't see this on Ed's calendar so who actually manages this if not Ed? Are these non-Bargy Tally days well run IYO? Will you be there?
I can't make my first race until May and I'm not into winter racing so I am seeking a March weekend to get back into shape.

Hope your holidays are going good. Other than grey and rainy weather, I'm enjoyng my 2 weeks off!

I am not Todd, but I stayed in a Howa....no I didn't :tut:

The Talladega Track days should be run fairly normal, some of the normal track people. Ed kind of helps oversee it I think, but most WERA people will be at Jennings for races that same weekend, for North Florida and Southeast regions. <hint hint> ;)

plus there are other track days in the southeast in march

Oops! Maybe I should go on down to Jennings even though I've never ridden there before; don't know how I missed that.

Come to VIR with us! The March VIR race is an event...lots of fun, lots of hanging out with folks from here who we don't get to see too often, etc.

Come along!

mmfoorTrackdays that are on the Tally calender are run by the track. Ed usually calls one of us that wont be at the races that weekend to help run the event (thats what i was doing for him back during the summer, i'd be the event coordinator/director, Faynisha supplies the CW's, and the trackday is ran basically just like a typical Bargy trackday. More than likely, i'll be there for that one as im only doing a handful of races this year, and Jennings isnt on my list of tracks to go to.

Thanks for the invite, Dave. I'd love to meet up w/some of the northern WERA folks.
Problem for me is that it's a full day's travel each way (11-12 hrs) and I couldn't get the time off from work, plus I'd need a practice day to get up to speed on a track I don't know.
Every year I blow all my personal days off to do the GNF. All other events have to be within a 5 hour drive and weekends only. Which relegates me to tracks I know (Barber, Rd Atl, Tally, RRR). I am considering the Jenning event as it fits my drive window, although I'll have to figure a way to get off work for the Fri practice. I still may just go to Tally to practice and hang w/Todd and crew.

On or off the track? Oh wait, we're talking Todd so it's mostly likely trying to stay on the track but going off....:D

I know, I know, I'm such a bitch!
