i'm loking for some used leathers in order to get involved in some track days. i'm 6'2", 220lb, waist 38"- any suggestions about suit sizing?

yes...go by chest size =) then check out the gear for sale section here...i would go to a local shop and try some on though first...they are like shoes...some brands sizes will fit different than others

I am 6'2 235lb

I have a 54 US (alpinestars) I think its a 63 Eur

You might could do the 52 if you are long in the legs. If you are long in the torso go 54. I had a Teknic 50 maybe once it was on it took 2 people to get me out and gave one hell of a manal-toe. Teknic's run small IMO - at least according to the size chart on the website.

Ultimately, you're going to have to try one on. Many dealers do not keep these in stock, so you'll want to be sure you buy from someone that offers "risk-free exchanges." Here are sizing charts for Alpinestars, and Teknic:
