fast to nowhere

I have taken Ed Bargy's course and have been spending a lot of track time at Jennings. But I have found myself holding 27 to 28's and cant break the crip this track has on me. I know the track has instructors and that maybe the route to go, but is there anyone that gives one on one track lessions. If there is such a teacher or someone that does not mind to help a guy who is highly motivated, I would appriecate the help.
Thanks

If you took the Bargy class then you know the correct line to take around the track. The best teacher is seat time dong it. Like Ed teaches you should pick one corner and break a little bit later and get on the gas sooner, and then continue that way all around the track. Good luck man you'll drop those times:up:

FTN, look me up next time you are at the track. There are a few places at Jennings where lots of time can be made up. I am one of the instructor/control riders out there and would be glad to pull you around. We spend a lot of time with the masses but also enjoy going into other groups other then novice and helping out individuals. What sort of bike are you on?

Doug Polen, former world champion, gives private one-on-one instruction. He was at Barber last year giving a private lesson to some guy at a trackday. You pay his expenses to get him and his bike there, you pay him for his time. You can google it up. Then he partners up with you for the day. You both wear communicators and he talks you through everything. How bad do you want it? :D

If you can hold out till then this would be a perfect opportunity. I'll be control riding on these dates also and we are going to be having very small groups which will allow for a lot of personal attention from any of the instructors.
Thanks 1W1, I remember when I started everyone did the same and coached me.

What group are you riding in? I am planning on being there but I maybe riding one of the JGP bikes which are only allowed in the novice group. I took a pretty bad spill today and broke my bike in half below the tank. I have another bike but its still being worked on and completed. I should be there that weekend though. Just come over to the VIP tent and ask for Ben or Pitboy.
I think video is a big help.
It will at least give you a different perspective of you average lap.
Everytime I see myself on video, I go nuts! "Get on the gas you moron!" or "What the hell are you braking there for you idiot!"

pm me next time your going and I may be there as well riding and would be more than glad to you help you out with your riding. I live in Winter Park, I may have a buddy going that's never been to the track for 12/29-31. Any other questions feel free to pm me here or on jgp website. Usually plenty of people willing to help you out just ask...take care.

I know the track fairly well and could lend a hand, as blackbeener could. I am trying to make it up before the end of the year. I think I have around 10,000 miles around there and can do 17 flat.....not the fastest, but I enjoy helping if I can as long as its worth it. Lemme know. Blackbeener is proficient at the track as well. Just not as good looking

Both Blackbeener and Dwire are fast as hell, both could really teach you a lot about some different lines and some tips on where to brake and such. Dwire and Hamurobby both helped me out.
