I check races/trackdays in the southeast, but 2008 schedules are posted for AHRMA (http://www.ahrma.org/whatsnew.htm), AMA (http://www.amasuperbike.com/article.php?UID=OBImrSwRINsdQ1CFZ40IkNkXVMmj4O&sc=1120&aid=10595), Cornerspeed (http://www.cornerspeed.net/schedule.html), and Star Motorcycle School (http://www.starmotorcycle.com/events.htm). Other groups I know a date or two.

It's pretty easy with Sportbike Track Time. Basically it's pretty close to last years schedule with a couple of date tweaks here and there.

Hey Monte, any STT dates at Mid-Ohio immediately before or after the USGP @ Indy Sept 14? That would be a great week (Mid-O and USGP in 1 trip)

We're busy in Indy Monday and Tuesday.... The Mid-Ohio schedule is coming together nicely and we'll have a robust schedule again at Mid-Ohio in 2008.

A "so far" file is on the way. I will send another later when things get posted.
hey monte,
I am the guy with the naked SV650 in advanced group that was at homestead (the brazilian on the 1000cc bike tried to run me off the track) and moroso very recently. Just wanted to tell you that the gate set up at moroso is crazy as I am sure you know. why they charge a $5 gate fee with one person at the gate and hold up entry into the track for an hour is simply retarded. While I was waiting and the sign up guy came over I explained the problem to him. It took him ten minutes to understand what I was talking about. He was mentally challenged. maybe you could explain to them the problem carefully. I know it might take a while but that would certainly help for next time. Otherwise it was a great day and i really appreciated the outback food. It was nice to have a decent meal at the track.

Moroso is a little different on all fronts. They just made several changes and seem to be hip top what we need/want.
Ya, that Outback food at Moroso and Homestead is sweet. Nice to have sponsors like that, don't you agree?
I know that moroso is atypical. I have been to Mont Tremblant and Mosport in canada all the way down to homestead in florida with most tracks in between. I have never seen such a poorly managed track in my life although pocono is not too far ahead of these guys. But at least they do not screw up the gate process there like at moroso. BUt when thunderbolt opens up in south jersey next year the geniuses at pocono will feel the pinch because just about everyone I know cant wait to go somewhere else that is close to the NY metro area.
Yes, the food is fantastic. No other club gets that set-up. it is a nice touch. I must say that you guys do have the most relaxed atmosphere as well. Thanks.

We heard all the stories about what a pita Pocono was/is. Well, we have never had any problem with management at Pocono.. they are great to deal with and treat us very well.
As long as renters realize that "we" only pay the realestate taxes at Pocono and that the two NASCAR races are worth about 300+ million and keep that in perspective it's golden.
We're looking forward to NJMSP in 2008 and glad that Harvey and crew pulled it off!

NESBA's schedule typically comes out "around" the turn of the year.
Monte,
I know that pocono's revenue is from nascar , but thats point. those guys are so cheap they will not spend a dime on the track in any respect. Even the Nascar guys were complaining on TV about the conditions there. ( I recall hearing Dale Earnhardt Jr. doing so this year). They barely listen to those guys who bring in al the money. They definitely could care less about the bike people. In any event, when they lose business this summer we shall see what they do.

I think we all try and put stuff up around the new year. What we don't want to happen is for a date to change and have folks make vacation plans, take time off etc.. so we really try to make sure things a set in stone before publicly releasing.
STT is aiming for Dec 25th but it may well be a bit after that. FYI - Our March Barber date is the same weekend as it has been the past few years. It's always the week after Daytona.
