I'm considering going to CMP, but have never ridden there before. CMP seems to get pretty mixed reviews, some not so favorable.

What's the track like? How are the facilities? Is power for tire warmers readily available?

Thanks.

cmp is a fun track with some tight and technical and some really fast sweepers. power is available but bring a long cord to reach the pavement. if you have a generator leaving your bike in pit lane reduces the amount of sand on the track.

go have fun it is really worth the trip, esp. if you have never been there.

just beware of the weather that weekend . i've been there that weekend in the past when it is 75 and also when it was 40 with a hard frost in the am.

I was going to go with a couple of people but things changed so I'm going to NY for the week before to hang with my family.

I might have to check that out as long as it ain't 20 degrees...

can we pay $120 at the gate, or do we have to pay more because of a late fee like nesba? Does the $120 include the gate fee, and if not, how much is that?
