If you miss a ABSOLUTE CYCLE Track Day you have missed a great day of riding....
I would like to say I did a day with this group at CMP and ran 450 miles of track time in 2 days......
You would be crazy to not try a day with them.....
Gp style format gives you alot more track time...
I have road with alot of other groups and always feel like I'am under the gun to get my track time in ....with this format you dont have to worry that you only have 20 minutes to ride and 40 minutes to get rested and ready to go again...
I really like the idea of riding then making some changes and being able to go back out.....
In closing I would like to say if you love to ride on the track this is the group for you.......
Gp format is they run it like a open race practice track is green all day long......Unless somebody is way off pace and can't hold a line.....
Just think Florida in December.....Things will be great...........

I ran a trackday with them in october and LOVED it, at CMP. From early till lunchtime is was 30 min sessions. After they watched everyone and knew no one was "out of line" persay, they had "open track" which was awesome! If you wanted to go ride for an hour straight, go do it! While at CMP in the afternoon, i went out on the track with a buddy and there was 3 people TOTAL on the track! It was so much fun! I am 100% signing up for the October day next year at CMP with them. they run a very nice trackday

We need at least 15 more to go ahead with this event...So, if you are all waiting to register don't....Cause if we do not get those signups I have no other option but to cancel...... "

I rode the CMP day with them and they rock. The only downside is that when they open the track, you get guys that are extremely fast on the track at the same time as guys that are just beginning. It caused some annoyance with a few on that day. I think that they were justified in being annoyed as well. Gotta give absolute props though, there is no way that they made money on the CMP day(probably actually lost money) and they still let it go each day. If there was any way possible for me to get down there in December, I would.

I loved it when they did that, it was nice to get out there and ride for as long as you wanted to. There's always going to be someone faster,a nd someone slower on the track at the same time. It's just learning to deal with both people that get's mentally tough sometimes

I was there for that day as well, I wasnt really bothered by open format, i enjoyed it alot.
It was by far, the most track time i'd ever gotten in a single day, and i had a great time. Only downside was when i ran out of gas and they cracked a joke on me over the PA

LOL i remember that. We thought someone crashed for sure when they sent the truck out. It was a great time though

Nope, just me being retarded.
Coolest part of the day had to be last session, 4 of us on the track, everything was dead quiet, just riding along like we owned the place.
i would pay DOUBLE their price, for the same experience, if it came down to it.

I must be the minority becuase I like when the track has alot of people on it going the same speed if not faster. I guess it is the old racer in me:D

That's nice too, but what made this nice is they had "open track" so you (along with the fast guys you speak of) could ride for 3 hours straight if ya wanted to:D

I rode the Sunday of that CMP day you guys are talking about, the open track was great because there were only 30 people on Sunday and they were never on the track at the same time.
The downfall was just like what was said earlier, I am used to riding in groups and the closing speeds were a little hairy when coming up on some of the people that had never been at that track before or who were just starting out. :wow:
But Absolute does run a GREAT event.

Need more riders to make this happen and not get canceled...........
Absolute is a great run!.... hoping they get some dates for NJMSP next year ;)
Gp format is awesome..........With the general consensus being fast guys at the top of the hour and slow guys at the bottom to start out (prevents that "gotta get out there" bottle neck. The day evens out to a no hassle/hustle event.
I did Beaver with them in Sept for a 1 day event.... Long way to go for 1 day but the GP format made it well worth the drive....
Will be seeing them a lot next year
Bikes in pieces for the winter tear down with the hope of seeing Jennings in January...
Hoping December works out for you guys...!

Quote from Roy:
Here is the scoop. As of now we have 10 Pre Registered Riders. We need at least 20 to make this event a go...I was going to pull this event tomorrow however there has been some strong signups this week. We will have a FIRM status on 11/23. We need 10 more to pre-register for this event. Since Absolute does not currently have a PRE-POST policy in effect some riders are waiting for a full weather report. If anyone has to pull their registration due to taking a vacation day when this status is not firm and cannot wait until 11/23 simply give me a call and ill take care of it for you. The staff and members of Absolute Cycle Experience would like to thank all of you who have promoted this event so we can go ahead as planned. We hope this week brings several more sign-ups...

Hey Parrish you know us guys from up north could crack some time...Just makin it fun...Dont forget to filler up this time!!! I did the same thing in jennings last year and caused my own flag at my own trackday!!
I know there are some that like to ride with more people out there and at the same speeds...as we grow there will be more out there...Remember on the closing speeds we do break it up for 2 groups .... If their is a difference in speeds...At our local track(s) Pocono, and ????? we run 3 groups with a Newbie basic class...Thanks for your kind thoughts everyone..What you can expect from us as know matter how big the club grows we will not over book, it will be 30 max in each group for always...we will just add more days....
