So, thinking of running a Jennings trackday, possibly next weekend (If spots are avail). Anyone have any inputs on their trackdays? Good/Bad... Only monkey wrench I possibly see is getting a set of tires for the SV...

JGP trackdays are well organized, and fun. I've done plenty of them. Great technical track....allows the 600's to run with the liter bikes too.

They have a great program in place for the Novice peeps too. Not saying you are one. :D

I'll be there this Sat. & Sun. Crimson 600RR #622. Stop by and say "hi" if you make it out.

Should make it out, as long as I can get rubber there. I'd like to think I can keep a good pace:D

I'll stop and say hey.

771- So, cant make the 10 or so hour drive:Poke:

How was grand course today?

Not sure what tires you run, but JGP sells Mich's. You could call the office (386.938.1110) to see if they carry/sell for the SV. ....just a thought.

Their trackdays are usually pretty informal. Just show up, pay, and run. The only disconcerting part is that they rely on the honor system for tech inspection. If you're interested, I've got a set of Pirellis that I ran in practice at the GNFs. The front has about 30 laps on it, and the rear has that plus about 20 Barber laps. They would probably be fine unless you plan on doing anything crazy.

I've got a set I could probably run. They've got some 3 sprints/practice on them, but they'll probably be OK for 1 trackday. I was looking at possibly doing both days:D

Bring bug spray or a beekeeper suit. Are those gnats still swarming?

Not as bad as usual, but a few.
