Anyone can photograph but if your charging for pictures I think you have to speak to the Director of the event.

I think I'm going. I am by no means a professional photographer. I will snap some pics with my digital camera though.

Friggin' rookies. Uhh... Neither you nor your subject (i.e., the track) will be moving. Well... the track won't be anyway. So what's the big deal in tacking some pics? :Poke:
Keep in touch this winter. You're always welcome to hop over and wrench on your bike or watch me wrench on mine and down an adult beverage or two

Thanks for the invite H. will do. I have a list of winter projects for my bike (yes cleaning is on said list).
I forgot the camera, but the repave was great. it still has some of those grattan traits, but not the grattan sealer strips. I dont know if the fast guys will go that much faster, but it was a confidence booster for me. I really noticed the benefit in the morning, when it was still miost. the old pavement with sealer strips/patchwork was slick in many spots, while the new stuff was fine.

We were out there Today (Sunday) and hit it CCW. I do have to say that the transition from the old to the new and vice versa isn't even noticeable (suspensionwise). The bowl still has its bumps as well as the begining of the straight but they are not as bad. It definitly beats having those sealer strips. Oh man, if only they just do the whole thing. The repave is a very nice improvement:up:

I think they ground down the transition. It's true - it's not even noticeable. The new stuff is nice overall. Still some of the same bumps there, but it's definitely an improvement.

I don't want to go back anymore. :D
can you still feel the ripples in between T9 and T10? in my opinion, that section of track was getting real sketchy. i had two people crash in front of me (at different times) in the same exact spot at the national. one ended up all the way out by the armco.
maybe it's due to the fact that my F3's suspension is limited, however, it seemed like that section got a lot worse over the past few years. i would assume it's due to the 4 wheeled godzillas.

Yeah, yeah... that's the ticket. That's why I had 3 get offs this past season:rolleyes: They were all on the SV. I was just fine on my trusty F2.

Can we do something to standardize which turn is what at Grattan? Since 2006, the Grattan website has a map with corner numbers 1-12. They got rid of the old numbering of 10a & 10b and have actually given each turn a number.
Soma youz guyz refuse to roll with the new times and cling to old numbering.:Poke:
Kevin, are you referring to the uphill portion after the bus stop?

all of the hills are still there, just less bumps.
The little drop off in the sweaper is still there and the dip between 11 & 12. There are still some bumps comming out of 12, but not as bad.
