Is there an age limit? Have several youngsters with 125s(one has been accepted in the Rookie Cup) that would like to get some track time. Thanks Tdub

Good question.
I will find out Monday.
In the mean time, check out the MCRA website.

Update, I left a message for an officer to respond here.

Quote from PM to me;

"A 125 might be to slow for gateway. 16 years old with a parent or guardian (they need to sign a special waiver for their child)."

Gateway is not a high speed track except for the front straight. It's more technical...
I think he means that there isn't much room for a 125 to stretch.
I don't see a problem with it though.

There are 3 session classes; About 6 sessions per class give or take.

Also there is the Licencing clinic.

If they have a licence, there are 2 races at the end of the day.

You may want to e-mail someone on the staff.
Hope this helps...

If it's an RS125 vs a motard it'll be fine at Gateway, they have corner speed and essentially no legs to stretch.

They'd probably be fine on motards too but I'm not sure what groups they use.

Guess we will just have to wait for VIR at the end of the month. Grand Course one day with North course the second.

a 125 will be fine at gateway, my wife rides a 250 at trackdays at about 60% of what it is capibale of. She is coming along though, I am just glad to see her taking her time and not going ballz of with no skill
