I bet you get a free shirt with it, too, and not a coupon.

I'm more partial to the Night Rod myself. If I had to pick an air cooled HD it would be a FLSTF, although I have seen some Sportsters that were pretty neat.

I agree, the new sportsters aren't that bad. I just tuned an '07 with the race tuner kit and it turned out 75hp. we should buy 2,mount a camera, and go across the US. Maybe we will get on speed TV!!

The Gap is a public road with public laws that should be abided by. Wonder why they are cracking down up there, just look at that picture.
I don't care if he thinks he won't crash, anything can happen and what is the point of risking his life going over a cliff or an innocent person in a car?

What makes those people not squids? If you are out on a public road riding it like a racetrack, you are acting like a squid. I don't care if you are a racer or not.

I was pretty surprised to click on this thread and find a picture of myself! I'm certainly not immune to crashing. Rossi still bins it from time to time, so what chance does that leave me?
I know aggressive street riding is a controversial topic, but I do owe a lot to that road and the locals for helping me develop my current level of ability. I did my first race at Nashville a little over a month ago and got my provisional out of the way. Next season will be my first full season, and I look forward to staying on the track and limiting or eliminating my street riding. As long as I don't go bankrupt I'll be in good shape!
See you folks next season!

Richard Petty NASCAR Experience took precedence over motorcycle track days. I guess I can understand, NASCAR type activities are their bread and butter. We got one of the east course dates back in the form of a Sunday east course date on a different weekend.

I'd like to attend the nesba track day at Hallett, but I'm not a member of nesba. This would be the only nesba track day I would be attending in 08. Do I have to become a member to go to the track day (besides the two 20 minute trial morning sessions)?
Matt H

Yes - you have to become a member in order to do any event other than the intro. Sign up before the end of the month though, and it's $25 less.
